As a result, they have formally requested that the judge allow them to serve West through a newspaper notice, a legal maneuver typically used when a defendant is avoiding service.

This is not the only legal battle the rapper is facing. Over the past year, several former employees have filed lawsuits against West, adding to his mounting legal woes. These lawsuits reportedly include claims of wrongful termination, wage theft, and workplace misconduct.
Pisciotta’s attorneys argue that West’s sudden relocation to Japan is part of a calculated effort to evade legal proceedings. According to them, he is either staying outside the country intentionally or deliberately making himself unavailable for legal service.
